Roni Garay Licera is a friend and a colleague, a nurse by profession, he’s a Chronic Kidney Disease patient and undergoing hemodialysis as one of its major treatment. This must be a trying times for him and for his family since he started his HD sessions both emotionally and financially. As they cope with the major change they had, they keep on extending their resources inorder to cover up their expenses. Now, they considered Kidney Transplant as a long lasting treatment.

Last November 15,2019, Friday, he had successfully undergone operation at National Kidney and Transplant Institute. While he is supposed to gain strength to get more better, he is upset with his hospital bill acquired. He is now voicing out for help due to unfortunate circumstance. He turned out positive to Protein Reactive Antibody Test which excluded him to avail the package intended by the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PHIC). With that, his hospital bill rocketed to 1.2 million pesos from its expected amount of 600,000 pesos.

This is a life changing experience for Roni and let’s make him build a brighter tomorrow by helping him stand for his dreams. I know our hearts are overflowing with mercy and generosity, so let us help him fulfill his moral obligation to his hospital dues. Our small help can change lives and God knows it.
