Dear Friends,
IF WE REACH THE GOAL I WILL SHAVE ALL MY HAIR - FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE!
Christmas is slowly approaching! This time of the year usually means spending time with your loved ones surrounded by Christmas presents and being spoiled with good food.
Unfortunately it is not the case for everyone. To help make this happen I’m collecting money for a NGO called Hilo Rojo in Trujillo, Peru. I’m volunteering here at the moment teaching children.
Hilo Rojo is a non-profit socio-educational organisation set up by a woman named Rosemary and her husband Americo, aiming to provide free schooling to children in La Esperanza, one of the poorest areas in Peru.
Rosemary and Americo dedicated their lives to this project in the last 6 years, devoted their free time, money, heart and soul, but there is still a lot that can be done.
The money from donations will be used to buy a small Christmas present for the children and ingredients for Christmas dinner which will take place at Hilo Rojo.
