Young Perspective Website

Young Perspective is an online newspaper entirely written for and run by young people, it was started in 2013 to help young journalists develop their skills and build up a portfolio of work.

The newspaper is currently housed at www.youngperspective.net, however, as the newspaper has grown and as its potential has grown, the current website is no longer enough to cater for our needs. 

The primary aim of Young Perspective is to provide an online portfolio (and reason to write for it) to journalists between 14-24 and the current website builder is not flexible enough to create really useful portfolio pages to showcase our young journalist's work or to make navigation user-friendly enough.

As a result, we are working on a new website which will aim to address these issues and make Young Perspective an even more useful tool for budding journalists. 

Money raised through this campaign will be used to fund the expenses associated with building a new website and, should there be money left over after those expenses are covered, it will be spent on new equipment to enable our journalists to write the best stories possible.
