young persons positive moves extras

Hi I am a parent of a child with special needs who attends a sport sessions with a charity called young persons positive moves extras . the sessions are run by specially qualified coaches and instructors who can give time and care when working with disabled children . we have a range of physical activities including dance , football, basketball and swimming . The sessions are so important to the children and families because otherwise the children would have no other place to! They are happy and safe with the coaches and among children with the same health and social problems.  They are almost never capable to attend mainstream clubs because of care and time needed for them to join in and often than not , their low self esteem and confidence makes them unwilling to join in other clubs .

In the past these activities were jointly funded by nhs and gedling borough council but unfortunately the funding is no longer available due to spending cuts.  We now find ourselves in the situation where we need to raise money to cover the cost of facility hire and specialized coaches and instructors and that is why I'm writing to you for help . We need to raise around £8000 per year to cover our costs . This is a large amount but it will see us run around 157 sessions , helping over 100 local children with disabilities per year.
