On the 25th of October I have been selected for a voyage aboard the Young Endeavour. This is an awesome experience, and one which will give me skills for life. I will be taught how to sail a square-rigged vessel, including how to navigate, keep watch, take the helm, cook in the galley, tie knots, work aloft and even take command.
The Voyage is not free and also requires me to travel to New Zealand so any and all donations would be greatly appreciated.
My sense of adventure and willingness lead me to apply and I hope to push my self to the limit, for a chance to discover new reserves of character, commitment, confidence, teamwork and leadership.
