young addiction, your child could fall

I am a 22 year old college student who has struggled with addiction after a seemingly long life of tragedy. I want to raise awareness among upper class communities about the serious possibility of drug addiction. Many people have a stereotype that only low income, inner city, dysfunctional families with no resources can be effected by the chains of addiction. I come from a fairly wealthy home with loving parents and the want for nothing. People often see me and are surprised if I reveal the issues that I have had. I want to tell the world that no matter who you are, what you look like, or how privileged you are addiction is still a real problem and should be a real fear for all families.
