Many families in Gaza are without means to feed their families. This stems from being cut off from the rest of the world when Gaza became besieged over a decade ago. Recently aid has been cut drastically, adding an additional layer of difficulty. Life's essentials, food, water, air, and shelter, in Gaza are controlled, contaminated, constrained, or demolished. Long-term solutions may not come soon enough. However, short-term solutions can be be made by people just like you.

Why the Palestinians in Gaza are protesting?

Gaza is the world’s largest "open-air prison", where nearly 2 million Palestinians live behind a blockade and are refused access to the other occupied Palestinian areas and the rest of the world. Besieged, Gaza is not sustainable. Self-determination is hindered, leaving many to feel hopeless. Life's essentials, food, water, air, and shelter, in Gaza are either controlled, contaminated, constrained, or demolished. The blockade doesn't allow them to leave Gaza, not by land, not by air, not by sea. One man told me, "We are dying slowly in Gaza." The Palestinians are protesting for their human rights and the right to return to their homes/land.
