Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for ACE program.

3 Ladies, 1 Pooch, 25miles, 5,249ft ascent and descent in under 12hours.

100% of sponsorship money to go towards the cost of the ACE program for young people

ACE is aimed at young people aged 14-18, though it is designed for those with challenging behaviours it has many benefits for those who would like develop such skills as confidence, self-esteem, strength personal boundaries and learn empathy for others. Many young people are being failed by society and labelled as "naughty" when often this is simply not the case. More often than not these are children who for what ever reason have had to deal with trauma whilst growing up and their "outbursts" are the only way they can see to deal with life. Our aim is to help these young people develop healthier, stronger and more successful coping strategies for life enabling them to go forward and live their lives and enjoy it.

Our team for this challenge is made of 1 adult and 2 teenage girls who also feel strongly about helping young people in need, and so they have asked to come along on the trek to show their support for this cause.
