Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica

I have been healing from sexual abuse...it took me about 35 years to realize I needed help and another 6 years to find my voice to talk about it.  I suffered depression, anxiety, agoraphobia and I was suicidal. The death of my father in Costa Rica was my turning point.  I started therapy, meditating, reiki training, and most importantly yoga.  I would love to get my yoga teaching certification so I can give back to anyone who may be in a simiar situation--that is my goal to help women, men or children who may be suffering in silence.  I currently volunteer my time with Victim Services of Leeds & Grenville.  

Im raising money in the hopes to travel to Costa Rica for 3 weeks to do a Yoga Teacher Training Program. I chose the ShivaShakti School of Yoga in Costa Rica through the Yoga Alliance website which accredits yoga teaching programs.  I also chose this location because it is where my father passed away in 2009 and I have wanted to go there since....going there while obtaining my yoga teaching certification would be a true gift, true healing, and a dream come true!!
