YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Hello, my name is Jeff Manrique. Over the last 3 years I have had a passion for yoga and it has changed my life in a positive direction. I feel healthier now then I have ever had before and I want to teach others how to live a healthier life. Each pose provides healthy benefits to the body, learning to connect the breath with each posture helps sustain a healthy mind & body.

if each one of you contributes $10 to my goal this easily can become a reality with your support.$10 is a suggestion i will gladly accept whatever you can donate.

Before I can do this, I need to enroll in the 200 hours Yoga teacher training course. I would be attending the Sweet Water Dance & Yoga studio, in the Bronx, if I am able to cover the $3250 for the course and $250 for other materials that I will need to attend this class.

I am not able to cover this cost to advance myself in teaching yoga to others as a life careers. So I come to you to ask you to please donate any amount to help finance this class. This course includes

1. Spirit of the Standards

The spirit of the Yoga Alliance Standards is to include a school in the RYS® (Registered Yoga School) Directory only when its YTT (Yoga Teacher Training):

• Has a definite, pre-defined curriculum that meets the Yoga Alliance Standards.
• Is taught by yoga teacher trainers who are qualified to train teachers.
• Offers a consistent approach that is conducive to depth, rather than a survey of different approaches.

All standards for a RYS are intended to be clear, implementable reflections of the above criteria.

CPR and First Aid Training

CPR and first aid training hours cannot be counted toward satisfying the minimum YTT curriculum hours or Continuing Education Contact Hours. Yoga Alliance suggests CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and first aid training for all RYT’s
