If women around the globe were empowered, educated, and taught to love themselves what a world this would be..... Economically, socially, politically, and environmentally. I am a mother, yoga teacher, and artist looking to contribute to improving welfare for all. This coming spring I intend to travel to a home for girls rescued from human trafficking. The organization is called Seeds of Hope. They are housing, feeding, and educating very young girls, currently ages 8-15. I'll be staying 10 days to help give them tools for dealing with mental and physical stress, releasing fear, and anxiety through the practice of yoga. I am in need of assistance for travel expenses, roughly 15 yoga mats for the center, and reference books in Spanish for each girl. Please feel free to send me an email with any questions. This is a wonderful group of people dedicating all their time, energy, and money into rehabilitating the youth. Any donation will be greatly appreciated!
"Seeds of Hope, a division of Hands Up High Ministries a 501 (c) (3), is creating clubhouses and shelters that are safe, healthy, and provide integral care for its girls. The clubhouses and shelters will be safe houses for girls who want to escape a life in sex trafficking or commercial sexual exploitation. Seeds of Hope's vision is to begin in Costa Rica and create a program that is replicated in the rest of Latin America and eventually the world. The program is designed so that each girl leaves with an education, vocational abilities, and healthy lifestyle practices. Our goal is that every girl who graduates our program will be spiritually healed and have the tools needed to become successful members of society."-Seeds of Hope, Organization
