Yo necesito dinero

Good day, great citizens of the world. Here is our story:

We are a small family (Mom, dad and daughter) living in South Africa. We are yearning to relocate to Paraguay in South America. The reasons are simple, violent crimes in South Africa is on the rise and being victims of armed and other robberies, we are living with a deep rooted fear; a fear of not being able to protect our young daughter from the vicious crimes being committed to most of the residents in our beautiful country.

With farmers’ blood running through our veins, we would love to live on agricultural land where we can live off the land and make a living from small scale farming, fishing and create an off the grid backpackers haven. Unfortunately, with the land expropriation policies currently being put in place in SA, nobody is sure what the future will hold.

We have entrepreneurial spirits and will make the best of living in a new country and culture. We hope to find peace and add value to wherever we go... we are moving along very well with our Spanish lessons so as to fit in easier as soon as we land in PY.

We've been researching for a very long time where in the world we can not only afford to live, but where we will be welcomed. We need the funds for resettlement in Paraguay while our papers are finalized and surviving until we are eligible to start working/doing business in PY. We gave ourselves a year to get the money together to cover all costs, but realized that even if we sold all our belongings, we will still only have barely enough for getting there and starting the residency process.

We have a dream of living free. Free from fear, free from uncertainty from what future our daughter will have in a country where we are seen as settlers, even though our great, great grandparents were all born and raised here. We just want to belong; somehow it feels that we were never meant to be in Africa to begin with.
