Thanks for visiting my fundrasing page.

I've been given a place on a YMT project that will be performing Macbeth at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast from 23-26 July. In order to get onto this project, I had to attend an audition that scored me out of 10 for acting, improvisation, singing technique, singing delivery, dance technique and movement improvisation. I will be spending a total of three weeks on the project which means we just have just over two weeks to get the show ready for production!

The really cool thing about this production of Macbeth is that it has been adapted for musical theatre and is set in the future rather than the past.

The director is Stuart Harvey who is the head of acting at the Wilkes Academy and has worked with YMT on a number of projects over the last six years. We'll be working with composer, Gareth McConaghie. The choreographer is Rachel Birch-Lawson, another highly accomplished artist.

In order to be able to go on the project, I need to raise the fees which are £1,525 and an additional £325 for travel to the London casting weekend and travel to Belfast. The total target of £1,850 seems daunting at this stage and if you are able to help at all, I would really appreciate it.

I have set the target at £2,000 and anything I raise over the £1,850 I need will be given to YMT for their bursary scheme.

Thanks,

Danielle.
