Over the Easter holidays from good Friday I will be heading out to Johannesburg, South Africa, with an organisation called YMP (Youth Missions Project).
YMP seeks to empower individuals to make a lasting difference in their communities, through active engagement in cross-cultural mission. Every year YMP sends out teams to build housing, community buildings, schools & orphanages in the poor areas of Johannesburg and Cape Town.
As we are entering into poor, neglected townships, we ourselves are supplying the costs of the resources and equipment needed to build these houses and community buildings.
This is where you can help!
I appreciate you probably get lots of requests like this so I would be really grateful for anything you can give - whether it’s £5 or £50!
The money will be going directly to buying the necessary resources, accommodation & living expenses for myself over the entire 2 weeks.
If you're craving additional information about YMP, their heart and vision, and the previous projects that have run for the last 20 + years, do check out this link to the YMP website:
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated and will yield such positive change in the townships we visit.
