Our team working on a 20 minutes short film titled, YESOD, a heartfelt story about a man who is lost in a time where humans on the verge of extinction, divided between his survival instinct and the inner human voice that pushes him to finds love, amicability, and a chance to bring the light back to his life.
STORY SYNOPSIS:
Alone in a deserted world, locked underground, hiding from the sun, living day by day, searching for himself in an empty world, without knowing much about humanity, his endless search can come to an end when he meets her, he is finally could have a companion, a mirror to see his true soul.
DIRECTOR'S INSPIRATION:
Our film draws inspiration from the events that have been happening recently in our world, the COVID-19 pandemic. Quarantined and locked away from our lives, friends, and loved ones, living all by ourselves in complete loneliness makes the one wonders about our way of living in this current state of the human journey, despite having almost all the luxuries that our ancestors didn’t even dream of, we are all alone living in small boxes, disconnected from each other and from our mother nature.
And thus we realized, it’s not about what technological advancement has done in our life, or about how fast we are moving towards our end, it’s about evolution, we are madly driven to end our species, it’s just how nature works, so here we are in 2020 living in despair, fear and loneliness waiting for a lifeline to grasp on it, just like the man in our story he just wants to be happy, loved and fulfilled.

As an independent filmmakers all we are aiming to make a different kind of movies to represent not just our idea but also our dream for making a visual piece of art that relates to our journey as a human beings.
As for the movie the main characters dive deep into expressing how hard could it be to express yourself, to communicate with one another, to really feel desperate and alone, to have difficulties to open up, to be connected with the sun, the moon, the earth, and more important to be connected to yourself.
