YES to E-Sports

Hi my name is Budiman from Singapore.

When I was young, I spent my free time playing video games and I love it very much. At that time, I thought wouldn’t it be great to get paid to play video games...

and guess what?

TODAY, that became a reality, video game players do get paid playing video games by competing or showcasing their skills via Youtube, etc.

I tried competing in tournaments for the prize money but I gave up as I realised the players are way better than me and it will take years for me to even be at their standard.

Showcasing my skills via Youtube? I mean, I like playing video games but showcasing my skills? With my current standard, again it gonna take years for me to get my 1st dollar from it.

So I guess from that moment on, playing video games for a living is not gonna work for me...

Then I came upon this phrase that motivates me.. it goes about like this..

”When you HELP enough OTHER PEOPLE to get what they want, You can have everything that you want”

So what do I want?

To earn a living in the E-Sports Industry.

Who are the other people that I can help to get what they want?

The players who wants to earn a living in the E-Sports industry.

How can I help them?

By hosting an E-Sports tournament, for players to participate and stand a chance to win cash prizes.

Why players have to participate in tournaments?

To expose themselves to the competitiveness environment in E-Sports tournaments that can prepare them for higher level tournaments with higher value prizes.

With that said, here is my plan.

To create and host an online E-Sports tournament.

Location: Singapore only

Game title: FIFA 20

No of players: 16

Tournament style: Best of 3 knockout

Platform: PS4

Registration fee: SGD5

Prize: Champion $300, 1st runner-up $200, 2nd runner up $100 (All comes from the fund contributed).

I hope you will support this tournament in the name of E-Sports. I will do my due diligence to make this tournament a productive one and hopefully to create a community.
