Hi there! Project Lotus consists of a group of students from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. This project was founded to address water sanitisation in Cambodia, as many of its people are still faced with limited access to clean water.
Our aim is to provide assistance to the people of the Komarichea Commune in Takeo Province through the construction of water pumps and water filters. With the help of the local residents, suitable locations will be identified for the pumps to collect underground water. Each water pump and water filter is estimated to cost $2500 USD ($3431 SGD) and SGD $500 respectively. We will also conduct workshops for the villages on the maintenance of the water filters and hygiene education for the students.
We would like to seek your invaluable help through donations for this cause. Everybody deserves access to clean water and we believe that even a small donation will go a long way in improving the daily lives of the people in the Komarichea Commune.
