Yemen Food Crisis

This campaign is student-led and focuses on supporting the ongoing food crisis in Yemen, by donating, you will help raise money for a non-profit (UNICEF Yemen Crisis) which directly provides for the innocent Yemeni who are on the brink of starvation and malnutrition.

Years of conflict have pushed the country to the brink of social, economic and institutional collapse, increasing food insecurity. As a result, Yemen's humanitarian crisis is among the world's most severe. Over 19 million of Yemen's population are at risk; over 3.3 million children and pregnant or lactating women suffer from acute malnutrition. In October 2018, the United Nations warned that 13 million people face starvation in what could be "the worst famine in the world in 100 years." The following month, a report by Save the Children estimated that 85,000 children under the age of five have died from starvation.
