Yemen food assistance

Yemen has been in a state of crisis since 2015, the conflict in the country has caused the death of tens of thousands and the suffering of millions due to the extreme lack of basic human needs such as food water and fuel. In addition to limited resources and an extremely weak infrastructure, a large portion of the country has not been paid their salaries in months if not years. The Yemeni people have always been resilient and with the help of many local and international organizations who have been working tirelessly to help the vulnerable, they will overcome. For this reason NGO Mondo has started a campaign to help as many people as possible to get food security for 6 months, We do this through our long time local partner Youth Leadership Development Foundation (YLDF). We have already raised 10 000 euros. With this amount we can provide 166 people with their daily food basket for six months. Food security is essential, as the collapse of services and governmental institutions in the country have left most people with no income. Teachers, and other public servants have been left without income for months if not years. 10 Euros will feed a person for a month. When people dont have to worry about feeding their families then they can focus on taking care of other necessities such as shelter, education and medical needs.
