Please meet Mimi,
A cute, harmful, playful little cat, Mimi was found homeless and lost in the streets of the Moroccan city Merzouga. Under the heat of a really strong summer sun with no food and water, Mimi was found under a car in one of the hotels parking lot, we gave him some water and some food an then a big black and white cute cat showed up to get some food as well, Francois!
Francois seemed to be so friendly and got along perfectly with the poor little Mimi so we decided to take both of them back home. Coming back home we bought alot of expensive things for the two of them and gave them a really good bath. Since then we noticed that Mimi was so skinny more than the normal, we also noticed that he wasn't reacting as he normally should when we play with him or give him some food, he seemed like he couldn't properly see anything we give him unless it's pretty close to his mouth, we thought he was just too small and that his eye sight will improve with time, his right eye started showing signs of an infection, we tried some eye drops and cleaning his eye more often but then it only got wors, as there was a tiny white dot starting to to appear in his eye pupil, we then decided to take him to the vet that's when we discovered he started having Cataracts which is a desease that might cause blindness, we also discovered that Mimi's vision in both eyes was really bad as he had a really strong myopia which explains his slow reactions to things, we asked the vet about the solution and he said that Mimi must get a Cataract surgery as soon as possible, when we asked about the price he said it's a really expensive one as we live in Morocco and vets who do such a surgeries are really rare, the surgery cost was about 2600$ plus some extra prescripted medications to improve his vision. We really lost hope and my family has tried asking me to give up on Mimi somewhere as we can't afford the surgery costs and his eye will just get worse, everybody gave up on him but I still have hope that he will get cured. So please help Mimi, he will be grateful to all of you. And God never forgets good people. Thank you.
