Campaign Story
#YellowBagProject is an outreach to the adopted aeta community in the Philippines
It was in 2011 when the EAO Employee Engagement team started to plan and conduct a Christmas Charity event from the proceeds collected from the yearly competition for Mr and Ms EAO pageant.
With the success and impact of the said activity, another event was implemented for 2012, that time with different beneficiary and strategy.
For 2013, the focus was to make it sustainable, hence the EAO Culture team decided to brand the activity and designed adopting an external community. The team came up with a name called “Yellow Bag Project (YBP)” where yellow stands for the color of sunshine, hope and happiness with Aeta community, an indigenous tribe in the Philippines, as the main beneficiary.
YBP has already programmed 10 projects and continuously planning for future events that definitely can make a difference for its employees and target beneficiaries respectively. Focusing on touching countless lives of our less fortunate brothers and sisters.
