Thank you for visiting my CrowdFunding. I am writing this post not for any of you to feel sorry for me but hoping to change my life. I know many of us do whatever it is to earn an income to support our families and kids, even though its hard to find work.Below I share my story hoping you might be able to help me reach my goal to study this year. I have been trying for work and posting on different Facebook Groups but without successs.

So I thought of creating this CrowdFunding Page to raise funds to fund my studies and at least 3 Months of Accommadtion, until I find work.

MY STROY:

My birth names are Sweetness Athini Qwabi and from the Eastern Cape and lived with my mother and have two daughters. I left school at Grade 11, when I fell pregnant since I had to look for ways to support my child. My mother worked as a cleaner and she wasn’t able to support both of us with the income she earned. When my daughter was 2 years old my mother decided to move to Johannesburg with hopes that I will be able to find work here and complete my studies. Things were challenging for both of us (my mother and I),so I decided that I was going to try and find work to earn money to help my mother, while my mother tried to support my daughter and I.

It was an upwards battle for us and it was hard to find work without any schooling and experience. My mother fell sick and we couldn’t meet monthly expenses. So I was then introduced to prostitution as a way to earn an income. This way I was able to help my mother to pay for rent and food and hoping to save up for my studies but I got pregnant with her second child with a client and things became harder for our family, I kept working after the birth of my second child to ensure we had a roof over our heads and food.

Today my two daughters are grown and the older one live with my family in the Eastern Cape and other lives with my mother and me here in Joburg. Her father helps here and there which helps me to focus.

STUDIES:

I have enrolled at Skills Academy for Beauty Therapy Course (Student Number is 231887), to earn an employable skills and find a better way to support my family. I would like to raise funds to be able to pay for a 1 year for my course and 3 Months accommadtion to be able to focus as I study and try for work to meet basic needs.

MY GOAL

I will like to raise R19 500.00 to cover Year's of Studies and 3 Months Accommadtion and I would like to ask if any of you would be able to help me in reaching my goal, for a donation of R100.00 you might you will enable to further my studies and wanted to ask if you be able to help?
