Campaign Story
The historic Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue in Burma—is in need of some minor restoration. Yangon was once the home of a thriving Jewish community consisting primarily of Jews from Iraq, Iran, and India. Musmeah Yeshua Synagogue was built in 1893-1896 to serve the growing Jewish population, which at its peak, was about 2500.
The contribution will go for painting the building, changing to the new wiring system, plastering walls and repairing old wooden chair and stairs. There are fewer than 20 Jews in Myanmar and your kind contribution for this historic Synagogue’s restoration will be highly appreciated.
