Today I received the invite to the second audition for The Voice U.k 2020-it's in two weeks.. I reach out to all my music followers and friends and family who helped get me to this stage for a little help to continue this process, I'll have a little vacation pay to take out but anything helps and goes a long way. I'm prepping and believing in the process. With love as always-Paul -❤️🙏🏻🎶

Hi everyone, I wanted to give you all a final update on the story and process and where we stand now.. wow what can I say, it's been a Journey! From Shaun and seb and friends starting the campaign and setting the plan into action from a call one news years eve saying we are entering you into xfactor to flying home after raising over a thousand pounds only to find out the day of the auditions the auditions are canceled and not to show up to anymore audition dates. Needles to say we were frustrated and disappointed to find out this news, and not from xfactor themselves but from a post from the location of the auditions and their Facebook page...

After seeing articles in the papers about xfactor being axed and people left out in the cold after rptravel plans we set about contacting the newspapers and media. We did have some interest from the sun, and breakfast T.V but due to xfactor not officially telling us that the show has been cancelled they could not run the story.,

It was at this time I saw a post online advertising open mic auditions for the t.v show "The Voice" 2020. An audition date was posted in Cardiff on the 23rd May..I was scheduled to fly back and b at work on the 18th. I immediately contacted the venue and conctact for the open mic audition and shared my story, asking for simply a chance to perform one song at the end of all the other auditions. I explained we would be traveling from Taunton over 100 miles just to get that spot, luckily as fate intervened I was given that chance and 1 spot,1 song.

We traveled to wales, entered the local spot which was small and much like a royal legion pub, with locals sitting around watching people audition with their choice of song and backing track. When my chance came I took the stage, set up my guitar and amp and shared my story and song, singing a song by Matt Corny called "Untitled". I got through it( days before Incouldnt even talk fro, being so sick with a chest infection that has been bothering me for months now) People gravitated to the story and song And I was the only person asked to sit down with the voice reps and producers.

The next step is flying back in June or July for one more audition before reaching the "Blind Audition Chair Turning" stages. Once a chair is turned you can select them to be your mentor and be on the team. Celebrity teams for 2019 are as follows. Will-I-am - /Jennifer Hudson/ Tom Jones/ Olly Murs

I received the email this week for. The next stage and await dates back to u.k sometime this summer,

I whole heartedly believe I can get onto this show and couldn't have done it without all of your help, love support money and guidance.

It is now time for me to focus on being in good shape, record and send out some original material, get my social media up and running and again showcase myself when the time comes.

It is with much love and heart that I thank each and every one of you.

We may return with a funding page or a news bulletin so I can keep you all posted, Feel free to leave me a message or direct message me, once again Thank you all. ❤️❤️

Update: Firstly I want to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported me and guided me, be it with their hard earned money, their Love, tough love and support, It has been and is a journey. From being so sick last week to cancelled auditions and being in limbo I managed to secure an open mic audition for the voice 2020. .The room was silent and we brought something different to the room for that I am blessed considering days before I couldn't even talk. After the performance I sat and talked to the voice reps, and gave them my details.(I was the only one they spoke to which was nice) I await further information for the second audition somtime in the summer months, again in Cardiff or London, then the next step is live shows in January, they are also going to be showcasing original material. All I can do now is go home, prep and get ready to represent myself once again. Thank you all once again for making this happen.

Hello all, I wanted to update you on the process so far, or lack there of. Unfortunately on the day of the audition while driving up to the auditions in Bristol at 7 a.m we found out that that day auditions had been cancelled and postponed and to not show up.We only found out via a post on the shopping centre Facebook page, we had no word or contact previously from xfactor, via emails or personal messages. To this day all auditions have been cancelled, again with no official word that the "show" is cancelled or "axed". This is only knowledge due to people showing up to auditions in the day and being tol to go home. People have invested time no money into this project as I am eternally grateful. It is beyond disgraceful with how the xfactor team has dealt with this as I am sur I am not tham only one who has planned around this happening.

We contacted the press, the sun and daily mirror etc, they seemed interested in the story but due to xfactor not giving official word they can/won't run with it.

We also contacted breakfast t.v to share this story.

The only thing we can do is try and put it out there and try and get something positive from this process.

Wednesday 20th I secured an open mic acoustic slot for auditions to be invited to pass through the 1st stage of the auditions next season 2020. These auditions are by invite only and they will take footage of performers and pick two people to be invited back, next year. I shall do my best, I performed at the local pub the other evening and it went down really well, so hoping to remain positive.

Other then that, that is all the news I have, I'm bitterly disappointed and feel quilt guilty after all of your efforts to support me, I am in limbo and this has been hard with figuring out gtting home and my current working situation. I hope that it will all work out, otherwise I'll be hustling a littl harder playing on the streets of Van.

Currently looking at flights round 25-27th.

Once again, thank you all for the love and support, I will continue to pursue my music, to write,r cord and share my music and try to get noticed.

With much love,

Paul

Hey guys! i wanted to update you all on the story so far, sooooo!! First of all I would like to personally Thank you all for your love, support and time and energy sharing in this adventure.People are beautiful:)

Currently we have just managed to book the one way to England! landing march 5th! we wanted to try and get audition dates for march 16th in Cardiff. but looks like we can not as there are no audition dates left in the country. Lucky I was accepted to audition March 9/10th in Bristol. This is great! However telling my manger I had to request different days was a little tough. Looks like i'll be down to part time hours, when/ If get back! That is okay, as first and foremost I am a musician, that needs to get back to busking daily after the winter break. I remain positive, if not a little nervous, with a little bit of pressure But am eternally grateful for all of your help and support!

SONG SELECTIONS THOUGHTS:.. guitar? no guitar?! slow, and emotive and passionate?

The decision is what to sing and how to present myself, I beleiver a lot of people will be just going into sing and sing loud, that isn't my heart so I am really trying to decide what to do here?! it is a little stressful! haha.

Song suggestions are:

MATT CORBY -untitled- audition with guitar. - This ls always a great song for me the I believe captures my heart and emotion. You or people may not know it, but it does stop people in their tracks while I am busking. and I do connect with it,

BONNIE RAIT- i CAN'T MAKE YOU LOVE ME:

This is the song i ultimately gravitate towards if i am to showcase a known song, it is in my key, and i can be emotive and passionate ad meaningful. I could do it with the guitar, OR without as a backing or Acapella.

COLDPLAY -THE SCIENTIST-- This can showcase my voice and different tones.

TOM WATTS -LEAVE THE LIGHT ON: This is a great key for me, and dynamically sows my soft and loud side.

DAMIEN RICE?

GLEN HANSARD?

All are great options, and bring different things to the audition, ultimately I have to go with my heart. My heart still remains unsure!

Once again, The flight is booked for March 5th, I will do a video update a few days before.Thank you for all your support, feel free to share the project we are going to do a couple last pushes and posts to try and get some last min donations.

lastly if you have not received a track yet you can email me directly at:

[email protected] I am also currently writing and recording some new material.

MUCH LOVE TO ALL.
