Campaign Story
Our son, Wyatt, was born on Christmas Eve and air lifted to the NICU at Children's Hospital in Denver with meconium aspiration. Ashleigh was unbelievable. Literally, Superwoman. She had Wyatt in a natural birth with 30 minutes active labor.
Wyatt inhaled meconium (fecal matter) and amniotic fluids during birth. He never took his first breath. His lungs became deathly sick.
He's fighting for his first chance to breath. He's going to get that first breath. And he will get out of NICU. Miracles happen in this place. And he is one of them.
Once Wyatt gets home, his journey to health will be our priority. He'll need medical support and at-home nursing to keep him strong. That's where our community of friends and family can help. Please, donate and become one of Wyatt's Heroes.
