The English Language School (ELS) is located on Youth With a Mission's (YWAM) base in Worcester, South Africa. The ELS was founded in 2002 with the purpose of equipping missionaries and other professionals, who need English for their ministries or professions.

In ELS we have a saying, "It is not just about English". We understand the difficulties and challenges that our students face when learning a new language. We have witnessed how they have been shaped and stretched beyond what they believed they are capable of. We believe that English is a tool that God uses to complete the call he has for those who pass through here.

The ELS is a non-profit school. The school fees that we receive is used to cover the expenses that the students incurred while living on the base of YWAM, such as food, accommodation, etc. Keeping this in mind, it is not possible for the school to carry the cost of renovations to the school, such as painting, changing of the carpets, and other changes in order to bring the school up to standard to government requirements.

It is for this reason that we are sending out this email. We need your help so that we can continue preparing and equipping the missionaries and professionals that come here to learn English.
