Campaign Story
Couple currently disabled with physical limitations. Help us protect our idea. We developed a product and working prototype to help a wide range of people but need help with the cost of the patent process.
This was set in motion because of our physical restrictions. We have used this item for some time. Realizing how often we found ourselves useing this realizing how dependant we became on this item . How many other individuals with or without disabilities would feel the same? This product will enable individuals to use an e-reader or devices like ipads, practially handsfree , in bed ! We felt this was important enough to ask for outside help. Hard to do, but important.
It would be wonderful to be able to share this with everyone now, show our drawing and pictures and get additional feed back. The information we found advises waiting, until you are able to protect your product. We would like to obtain a patent and trademark to protect, and hopefully produce our idea. It would be fulfilling to make a product that has a wide range of people it can be applicable for as well as financially profitable. We would like to become less dependant on others . Hopefully pay it forward.
That is where you may come in. We need help to make this happen. We have a very limited income. We cannot do this alone. One person that gives generously, or many that give a little. All would be gratefully accepted.
The initial patenting fees started at $3,900. When this has reached the patent pending stage we will be glad to send you a picture or sketch of the item and where you can get one (individually crafted at this time) Please provide your email address if you would like this. We welcome your comments.
