Wrangler Needs Back Surgery

Wrangler has been my best friend since I was 12 years old. He's 7 now and I'm 19.

A few years ago he had a herniated disc in his back. After prednisone and rest he recovered well. Sunday, January 1, 2017, I can home from work and he looked at me helplessly and in obvious discomfort. The next morning he went to the vet and they confirmed one of my biggest fears, his vertebrae in his back are narrowing and he needs surgery. He's been on steroids and nerve medicine since with no improvement. The vet is going to refer him to Va Tech for his surgery but I have to have the money to pay them at the time of service. They do not accept Care Credit or other "pet" cards at the current time.

Wrangler has not only been my best friend, but has attended many days at school to be help teach kids how to groom dogs. He likes to frequent local stores as well. He just want to be able to run and play like a normal dog again

I work full time and attend night classes. I also volunteer with my local rescue squad. I'm selling personal belongings as fast as I can but am also reaching out and asking anyone for help. ALL money I receive above his medical costs will go to help other dogs in need! PLEASE help me so I do not have to euthanize him
