Wound Care for Kary Eckmark

I am in need of help for wound care dressings. As of 2016 my health insurance will no longer cover the specialized dressings my Dr has ordered for my extensive wounds. I have filed 8 appeals with the insurance and they will make no exceptions. Even with the orders from the doctor that it is a medical necessity. The wounds were progressively healing and have come a long way until the insurance stopped covering the dressings I need.

Without these dressing, I have had two infections, and the wounds on my legs have gotten more painful and caused more drainage, which makes it very difficult for me to walk.

Unfortunately the dressing are costing 600.00 per month. This is putting me in a financial bind, being on disability. I am now going to have to leave my house and move, which is another challenge because I have minimal use of my legs because of the wounds and the pain it causes.

Please, if anyone can help it would be a blessing. Without these dressings, my legs will not heal and I will not be able to walk soon.
