Secrets and dangers lie ahead for you in this epic world where every man, woman and child have an animal by there side called Daemons. In the series His Dark Materials written by the amazing Philip Pullman, you have already learned about the uses of Dust and Daemons. However, from now on you can take a step into Jordan College, visit the Gyptians on their boats, meet scholars and write down homework to find out everything there is to know about the secrets that the Magisterium doesn't want you to know about!

Who are we

We are World of Daemons, a group of people, who love the His Dark Materials series and are under the impression that we need a place to gather and meet with fellow fans. We want to launch an online RPG website that has the purpose to get all the Role Play Gaming loving people, that would like to feel like they were in Oxford, together. People who love the His Dark Materials series or big fans of RPG are welcome to join and meet other fans and let a self made character live in this world and walk the halls of Jordan College.

We believe that this could be huge, the magnificant HBO/BBC series season 1 has just been released and books about this amazing world are still being written. To give these people (and us) a platform on which we can talk with fellow His Dark Materials lovers, we hope to create new friendships globally.

After the success of World of Potter, we believe this can be next big thing.

What is RPG on WoDeamons

RPG stands for Role Playing Game. This is what World of Daemons will be all about. An online platform you can join for free. You will be a student able to follow classes and work your way through the Jordan College. However keep an watchful eye out on the magisterium. You never know what they are up to after all!

In our RPG community you, as a student or grown up, will be able to receive a special status. This status can be used in a forum in which you will write as your own made up character. You are the ruler of your character, you can make it say things, do things, you would never do in real life.

Besides this every character will be assigned a Daemons. While being a student your Daemon will not have his/her form yet. Somewhere during your training and upon reaching a certain age you will be able to decide by doing a test what your Daemon will settle as.

The team behind World of Daemons will organize the most wonderful plotstories for you to join. Together creating a universe in which you can forget your real life and step into the world of His Dark Materials, together with you, as a fan!.

What will we do with the money

And why do you need to donate?

Right now we need 1500 dollars/1300 euro's to get this site opened up. Included in this pricing is the money for promotional adds on different media. The 20+ people working on this project right now are doing this all pro bono and that will stay this way. We enjoy building up our dream and we do not care for the financial reward for ourselves.
