It is with great pleasure and excitement that I present to you The World Championships of Performing Arts or WCOPA. WCOPA is the only “World Talent Olympics” and is held annually in and around Hollywood, California, U.S.A.. Home grown Filipino Talents are given the chance to participate in this global competition through Dancing, Singing, Acting, Modeling, Instrumentals and Variety Arts.

Since the Philippines participated in 2005, we have been able to produce several World Champions JED MADELA (solo vocalist) in 2005, the Cercado or Golayan Sisters/ Mica a.k.a 4th Power (group vocalists) in 2006, Reymond Sajor (solo vocalist) and Aria Clemente (solo vocalist) in 2007, Catherine Loria (solo vocalist) in 2008, Rhap Salazar (solo vocalist) in 2009 and Marielle Corpuz (solo vocalist) in 2010, Iana Dela Torre (Solo Vocals Jr.) and Beverly Caimen ( Solo Vocals ) in 2013, Loyd Montebon ( Solo Vocals Jr. ), Extreme Dancers ( Dance Group ) 2014, and Junior New System (Dance Group) 2016.

The following are the benefits to the contestants:

1. Gaining confidence & experience by participating in an INTERNATIONAL competition in the USA.

2. EDUCATION thru the WCOPA “Bootcamps” or Workshops by Hollywood, U.S.A. coaches and instructors in acting, dancing, singing, modeling & career in the performing arts.

3. CAREER DEVELOPMENT thru “Go Sees”. Deserving and qualified contestants gets to meet Casting Directors, International Talent Scouts, Artists & Repertoire of US based Record Labels etc.

4. GIVING PRIDE & HONOR TO OUR BELOVED AND COUNTRY.

It is in this light that I would like to request for your kind financial assistance and support. This for my registration fees, airfare, board and lodging in able for me to participate in the 21st Annual World Championships of Performing Arts which will be held in Long Beach, California, U.S.A. on June 30 to July 9, 2017.


MARK AUSTIN D. SOLITA is one of the alumni of the first Makati’s pride, University of Makati Chorale, also known as the Makati City's Singing Ambassadors. He joined the said group with the tutelage of Prof. Elsie Z. Eranista, one of the pillars from the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers. He also took various voice trainings and chorale workshops at the Cultural Center of the Philippines led by the Philippine Madrigal Singers.

On April 2007, He is one of the performers in Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program where youth delegates from different Southeast Asian countries visited Manila.

On March 2008, Mark finished his voice extension class at the University of the Philippines - College of Music under Prof. Renier Cruz where he performed Italian aria songs for his recital.

On August 2010, Mark won the grand prize in the prestigious Kundiman Competition in Makati City.

Being one of the Makati City's Singing Ambassadors’ tenor soloists, that paved the way for him to perform at the Esplanade Singapore for the Singapore Cultural Festival held on May 12 and 13, 2010. This triumph has been nonstop and unlocked the group’s championship in a prestigious music competition at Tagum, Davao last February 17, 2011, entitled Musikahan Sa Tagum

On year 2013 - 2014, Mark is one of the adjudicator in the annual PhilPop Song Writing Competition led by Mr. Ryan Cayabyab.

This year (2017) Mark was chosen to represent the country in the World Championship of Performing Arts in Long Beach California on June 28 to July 9.

Mark gained these achievements as he continues to pursue his dreams in the field of music. He excels in this career as a solo and chorale singer to spread passion, love, dedication at the same time discipline for those people who love singing as their craft.
