Hi, I am Nanda Kakumani,14 years of age. World Challenge is an expedition driven experience which gives young people like myself the chance to explore new horizons in exotic countries. I look forward to experiencing the Moroccan culture, learning about their customs and traditions and with the work in the villages, I look forward to do my bit to give back to society and i also look forward to developing my leadership skills, team building, money management, which will in turn build my confidence to deal with problems encountered in later life.
In the Easter Holidays of 2019, initially I will be travelling with 20 other fellow students (in school) to Marrakesh, Morocco, from there we will be venturing through the wilderness to reach our final destination of Dades Gorge in the North-East region of Morocco. Along our scenic route we will encounter local villages and the people who live there, as we push the limits physically and mentally we will also experience life in rural morocco. In order for me to be able to partake in this once in a lifetime opportunity I need to raise £1860. This money is to cover the cost of travel, visas and equipment.
No donation is too big or too small and all will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support. In the words of Albert Einstein : The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving.
