Workpool TM

WorkPool is a community development project. Unemployment in South Africa is currently at 28% which equates to 13 Million people out of a population of 48 Million. The aim of this project is to lift people out of poverty.

We will use the funds raised to create a mobile app that connects people with temporary as well as longer term work. Probably the most amazing benefit offered by this app is that it will teach young adults to take responsibility for themselves. It will also teach them how to help themselves by helping others , earn credibility, as well a lessons in managing their wealth.

We expect it to be the most effective way to help the biggest number of the poorest of the poor. It will be constructed to be a fun app that allows job seekers to:

1. Set and achieve their goals.

2. Build a professional Curriculum Vitae.

3. Receive a monthly pay slip.

4. Open a savings account.

5. Buy products and services at much lower than market prices

6. Build skills through our learnerships.

7. Access to study material and courses at much lower price.

The programs are incentive driven.

The search features connects people with job/ work opportunities to job seekers immediately matching the skill required to the profile and location of the candidate. Both work seekers and contributors are vetted, rated and ranked.

All types of opportunities, from freelancing to permanent positions, can be logged by private individuals or companies. There is a need for different types of memberships i.e; Mentors, Leaders, Members, Work seekers, Work Contributors, Suppliers/ Producers, etc.

All participants will earn rewards that are exchangeable on a barter platform that is linked to the Workpool app. This project will touch the lives of millions of South Africans.
