Paws, Hooves and Claws Defending the Laws - A small lady on a big Mission
As human beings we all have dreams, passions and goals that we try throughout our lives to accomplish and reach. Mine since I was a little girl was to become a defender of the voiceless, helpless and often forgotten. The defender of the ones who's votes have never mattered or counted. Like the thousands of Rhino, Elephant and Pangolin that right at this moment lay ruthlessly slaughtered or slowly dying without any help or justice insight. When I was younger I had no idea it would shape my life so strongly but it has become the reason I wake and the reason for my sleepless nights too.
So after many years of blood, sweat and tears I have finally started to move in the direction of my goal, using animals to fight for the protection and conservation of animals. Now I am female Anti-Poaching Ranger, K9 Trainer and Deployment Manager working in one of the biggest National Parks in South Africa on the front line of this war on our African Wildlife alongside some of the most highly trained K9's in the world. Every time I feel I have almost made it , Like I am actually making a difference we lose another animal in a horrific way or have another calve left an orphan and I feel like I must once again do more.
This is where my big long term dream starts to really take shape. Using horses a Mounted Reaction Unit to work alongside our High Speed Tracking Dogs; Closing the gap between us and the poachers. Many of us out here believe this will work but we just don't have the means to do it so I am reaching out!
I am calling out to all lovers of nature and people equally as passionate and hopeful for the future of these majestic and ancient animals to help fund me to start this Mounted Unit and prove the concept works.
From the ground up I am asking for support and funding to continue to really make a difference and to continue trying to win this brutal and savage war on our environment and wildlife. The money raised here will be used for transport, feed, equipment and horses.
Please help support this cause because it is a good one not just for now but for the future generations too.
