Workers, children need support for food and basic necessities due to Covid-19 pandemic

Hi all,

I am writing this on behalf of 10 unemployment people of our small village, begging for your support during this Covid-19 Pandemic, while we facing uncertainty and are exposed to hard living conditions on a daily basis without jobs.

In our country, working without labor contract is normal, because the owners don’t want to pay for insurances, so we could easy get fired after few months if we ask for the contract. That's the reason why most of us don’t have a stable salary, sick pay and unemployment benefits in this pandemic.

We cannot work since the end of Feb 2020, therefore we do not have money paying for renting house, food, and medical care... We spent our last savings since then...

In some our big cities like Hanoi, HCMC... we have free "Rice ATM" but not in our small towns.

At home, our children need to stay home and study online, but we don’t have computers for them to learn… Without good education, we – their parents are facing to lots of problems, we want to do our best for our children, so they could have a different life – not like their parents right now.

With your supporting, we will be able to secure for those most vulnerable food and basic necessities, but also to cover basic living expenses like rent, electricity, etc.

We are in big need of your help to get through this tough times of Corona!
