A Community Programme that supports Students at Inner City Schools prepare for their School Leaving Exams

Our Story:

In 2013, Walmer Secondary had a 50% pass rate and was in danger of being shut down. In 2015, the Woodstock Matric Support programme was set up to partner with Walmer Secondary - with a simple plan to support Matrics prepare for their final exams.

The school's pass rate has increased to 97.6%, demonstrating how a simple idea and community support can make a real difference.

In 2018, Woodstock Matric Support will continue working with Walmer Secondary but will also partner with a second school, Queens Park High.

We need your support to provide students with study materials and a delicious meal on study days, held over weekends through the year. The programme model is 100% volunteer and donations based - all money donated goes straight to the students.
