Women in Construction Register

The Women in Construction Register was conceived to support all women in construction with their search for employment in construction projects, large and small.  Although the WICR began in California, we hope to eventually expand to each of the United States.   Each member of the WICR is a qualified woman in consruction as a tradeswoman, contractor, or woman laborer.  Their qualifications are verified by WICR staff prior to their addition to the database.  A copy of their licenses are entered into the database and updated annually.  Normally three references are provided for each member.  However, any circumstances that vary from that will be explained in their records.   The need for the Register became evident when contracting firms were looking for women construction workers to fulfil their minority percentage positions.  Also consumers with small projects were looking for female contractors, found that there was no place that had this information available until now.   We hope you help us with the startup of WICR and help support women in construction.
