Wish Upon A Wedding

It’s weird how we get wedding fantasies set in our heads when we are little girls. Everyone always says that they never thought about their wedding until they got engaged, but I’m not going to lie to you. I started dreaming about my wedding as soon as I could talk. When my mom gave me my first piggy bank at four, she asked me if I’d like to save for college. “No,” I told her “College is boring. I want to save for my wedding.” I still remember the horrified look on my feminist mother’s face. “But…” she said weakly, “You know that girls can do anything! What would you like to do?” “Save for my wedding dress,” I said firmly.  

Now that I am an adult I signed wedding papers with my husband but we never experienced the actual wedding part. I so badly want the experience of a wedding, getting dressed up in a wedding dress, walking down the isle to my husband and having everyone in awe. Since we now have two kids aged 1 year and 11 months and a 3.5 months it seems impossible to save for a wedding. Everytime we seem to save a little something comes up like our car has to get fixed, or this broke and that ect. Life happens and it seems as if that fairy tale wedding will never happen. 

Then a friend told me about this website where generous people will donate and help. I was so excited I couldn't wait to type this up! Anything truly helps a $1 or $100 anything!  Thank you so much for taking your time to read this.
