Malene Drost Rasmussen’s heart burns to help the street cats on Rhodes. It's a hard and emotional job. She has some feeding places around her neighborhood, where she is feed daily, and she checks all the cats if they are okay. Everyone has a name. If new cat arrived or one has become ill at one of the places, these will be captured, sent to the vet, and they will be castrated / sterilized.

She has a small place, the cattery home, where the cats who are sick can live while they receive treatment until they are healthy to get out again.
