Winter Clothes for the Deserving

Winters in many parts of Pakistan are very harsh, especially for villagers and the urban poor who don’t have access to woolen clothing or cover. Government statistics reveal that winters are among the major reasons for the deaths of the deserving. Statistics show that the death toll has started to increase significantly due to a drop in winter temperatures. Clearly, hundreds of winter deaths are considered “normal” by Governments, and there is hardly any effort to address this tragedy.

This campaign buys woolens, clothes, and other basics and distributes these 'winter kits' in rural/urban poor areas of Pakistan. Each winter kit – comprising of clothes of different sizes, woolens, blankets meant for one family’s needs. This year, we plan to provide these kits to 150 families in Punjab province and your small donations will make a big difference. We believe in "One Humanity" and its our responsibility to take care of fellow humans who are not as blessed as we are.
