The name of our venture is WINNIT Raffles Ltd and our web site is www.winnit.co.uk

1. We have a unique idea and website

Winnit is a website which hosts Prize Competitions for third parties wishing to raise money for local, national and global charities, community projects, other Good Causes and businesses. It endeavours to match a business with a Good Cause. For example there is currently a competition at one penny per entry to help raise the much needed funding to pay for colon cancer treatment for a woman in America. There is also another competition at one penny per entry to win £1,000 Tesco vouchers which will also raise £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A competition is listed with a house as the competition prize to highlight just what the site can do to help people in negative equity and drowning debt. In this case the aim is to take a house in negative equity, use that house as a prize and sell enough entries to pay the mortgage in full, pay off all of the current owner’s debts and give that family enough money to put a deposit down on a new house with a more favourable mortgage. In effect, give that family their life back. At present there is no other competition website that can host competitions in this format.

2. My Skills and Experience

The Winnit prize competition website has gradually been developed over a number of years and, in truth, further development is required in order to achieve our goal which is to have at our disposal the perfect tool for our purpose. The concept is entirely of my own creation which in my view makes me the perfect man to oversee this venture. Often the simplest of ideas can be the most effective and it is certainly the case here. I am by nature a charitable individual having supported many a good cause. I have also been involved with a number of community projects in my time. This venture and the sheer scale of its potential is a passion that drives me on to ensure its success. The site has a limitless capacity to host prize competitions and the format provides a unique and, perhaps more importantly, free opportunity for any and every good cause to raise much needed funding at no cost to them whatsoever. How can this be achieved? How is it sustainable? These are questions we can answer honestly and simply. Every page is completely transparent when it comes to costs and how much goes to whom.

3. The Social Needs we can address, the beneficiaries of what we can do;

Winnit does not aim to address any one single area of social need, the target area of beneficiaries is unlimited. The website is designed to host prize competitions for anyone and everyone, subject to our terms and conditions. Likewise there are no boundaries regarding the organisations, charities, community projects and other good causes the prize competition entry funds are able to support. Winnit also has the ability to help businesses.

The site already has members from all over the world, in every continent. People as far afield as Israel, Brazil and Australia have purchased entries to win a house and other prizes. The market for membership is completely untapped as there is no other site like this in the world right now. Moreover, every single penny raised, over and above the cost of the prize, and its delivery cost, all goes to the designated beneficiary, absolutely 100% guaranteed.

Winnit is currently hosting competitions to aid Macmillan Cancer Support, RNLI, Help for Heroes, Cancer Research, UK Coastguard as well as other organisations supporting Animal Rescues, Victims of Sexual Abuse, Mental Health, Victims of Domestic Violence and The Homeless. One person’s difficulties through to a national disaster fund, Winnit can help.

4. Identifying the need for this kind of Venture

All that is required here is to look at the world around us. Speak to people in the local community, pick up any newspaper, listen to any radio news or current affairs programme or watch some of the same on television. The list of those needing urgent and / or continued funding / support from the world’s populace is endless, some may say frightening. Winnit is able to list and host a prize competition to benefit any worthy cause within minutes of a request to do so being received. Yes that’s right and only the minimum of detail is required to begin the process. There is no cost to either the party requesting a competition be set up, or the designated beneficiary provided it is for a worthy cause. That is the only stipulation made.

The need for a venture such as this is, in our opinion, unquestionable and the benefits immeasurable. The tool to provide worldwide help is, in development terms, close to completion. However there are a couple of main area's which will require funding until such time as the venture can become self sufficient. I know when that will be, but there is a way to go yet.

5. How in simple terms we can gain sustainability

The venture will become self sufficient by securing the required levels of membership with a high enough percentage of those members entering various prize competitions, on a regular basis, at any given time. To gain the membership levels required Winnit needs to advertise, advertise and then advertise some more. As the competition winners emerge the beneficiaries will receive cash donations, Winnit, in turn, will receive testimonials from both the competition winners and the beneficiaries, followed by endorsements from those same beneficiaries. The credibility provided by endorsements from globally recognised charities will inevitably attract more and more members. Instead of donating a pound in cash to a favourite charity why not enter a prize competition Winnit is hosting for the benefit of that same charity and earn the chance to win a major prize in the process? Much of the monies donated to charities are eaten up in administration and advertising costs. Winnit does not charge for either and those donating have a bit of fun at the same time.

For the purposes of the rewards, because our site is set up simply to accept money in exchange for our site credits (known as CyberCash on our site) and those site credits used to buy entries, the only reward we can offer is those site credits. If we were making cakes we would offer loads of cakes, however our entire business model works by the Members using our site credits. This is a way that makes us a more interesting Business Start Up for you to contribute to and invest in. You are helping us get off the ground with your donations, but at the same time you have a chance of winning something huge by using those site credits to participate in the site you are investing in.

We also pay our members every time they share one of our pages on Facebook. The current amount we pay is 25p every time you share a page or tweet a page. The video above shows you how.

I hope I have given enough information for you to join us and look forward to taking this to the next level.
Kind Regards
Ian P Lambert
