Wings To Fly

I am seeking funding to procure an editor for the book I have written about my life as a blind woman, overcoming obstacles, and now living a bold and adventurous life: “Wings to Fly,” a Story of Truth, Determination, and Victory.  It is an inspirationalnonfiction novel of courage and perseverance. I am totally blind and have been since I was a child.  I am a classically trained singer and piano teacher.  I have a Master of Music degree from Pittsburg State University inPittsburg, Kansas. After pursuing doctoral studies in voice at the Universityof Colorado in Boulder, I change fields and acquired a Master of Arts degree inpsychology and counseling from the Naropa Institute in Boulder.  I teach piano and voice and speak and lecture and perform on a regular basis.I help audiences climbmountains and fly over rainbows. Through my stories, I demonstrate howobstacles, challenges, and daily struggles can be transformed into options andcelebrations. Audiences experience their own adversities and find comfort inknowing they are not alone. They recognize that they can balance their darkwith their light and move from where they are now to where they want to be. They learn to listen to their inner voice, speak the truth, touch their heart and see their vision.
