Campaign Story
I am going to be doing a wing walk on 12th July at Damyns Hall Aerodrome, Hornchurch, Essex on behalf of the SAVING DEBBIE CAMPAIGN. Debbie (my brother's wife) has a brain tumour which is inoperable in this country at the moment but treatment is available abroad in Prague for the cost of £50,000.
Wing walking entails my being strapped to the top wing of a Boeing Stearman bi-plane at speeds of up to 135 miles an hour, with low-level fly pasts from varying angles of approach at 50ft and a zoom-climb manoeuvre at 500ft. All with myself standing on the top wing!
