OUR CAUSE;

We are reaching out to you to help us save the oldest working wine-pub in Maribor- Zlata Trta (Zlata Trta, meaning >> the golden vine<<, pays homage of the oldest living vine plant in the world, The old Vine, dating back to the early 17th century, growing just a stone's throw from the pub.)

The wine-pub had first opened its doors in 1848, maintaining its authentacity to this very day.

I like to give you inside look of our business, who we are;

ARTISAN ; it means being one of 15 cafes in Maribor to be granted the˝artisti del gusto˝designation by Illy coffee for world-class baristas.

It means classical music in the morning and lovely blues in the afternoon and evening.

It means two-way communication with our customers-doing everything to the best ability, and being open to feedback about how we can get even better.

I am ARTISAN because i am dedicated to hear and talk to you about your wishes and desires about food, wine and else. So all of this can go on if you decide to donate me.

We are using only premium ingredients for a our customers who appreciate it. Our plans were to extend our business to another level , from BBQ to New York style burgers and steaks, with a outside restaurant terrace in one of the oldest houses in Maribor- Center.

Due to the fact that the legal form of the wine-pub had been changed in December 2019, we are inelegible to receive any form of small business subsidy or grand by the government, which would help us in covering some of the fixed-costs for the remainder of the lockdown.

Whether or not you decide to help us with your kind donation, rest assured, you are more then welcome to come and visit, once all of thhis is behind us !
