Help Create a Wildlife Awareness Education Centre in Phuket!

In recent months, our free fortnightly educational presentation events have proved very popular among children and adults alike, and we are ready to spread our conservation message to more people than ever before! The WIN team are currently finalising plans to create a wildlife education centre with sufficient space to host more frequent presentations and seminars, as well as to house equipment and educational materials, and provide large living areas for our growing collection of captive-bred snakes.

We intend to begin welcoming social groups and students from both Thai and foreign schools to our centre as soon as we can secure an appropriate location. However, our commitment to offering people an education experience free of charge places a restriction on our operational budget, and we started this fundraiser to ask for your help, so that we can spread our message of conservation and snake awareness to a much larger audience!

About Us
Wonders In Nature (WIN) is an organsation based in Phuket, Thailand, which aims to change the way we think about wildlife and the important role each species - including humans - plays within the context of our unique ecosystem. The WIN team works to accomplish this by providing free educational presentations to schools, overseas visitors, and members of the local community.

WIN founder, Michael, is an internationally-recognised wildlife educator, and he uses interactive displays with these frequently misunderstood - but ecologically vital - animals to highlight the importance of peaceful coexistence with all species. WIN also serves the community by demonstrating how to live safely in close proximity with snakes, reducing conflict between snakes and humans.

Wonders In Nature adheres to a model of snake education which is unique in Thailand, and does not condone sensationalism, tricks, or forced unnatural behaviours. WIN team treat each animal with the utmost respect, and all interaction is conducted in a safe, respectful, and professional manner. WIN presentations feature snakes which are allowed to demonstrate their true personalities and behaviours, offering audiences an authentic glimpse into a rarely-seen world.
