This campaign is to help provide working capital for the lavender and honey farm I am starting in northern Arizona. I have already procured 10 acres of off grid land to live and work on. Unfortunately I was unprepared to live off the grid this winter, and have had to stay in town with a friend. The land alone has put me $20,000 more in debt, on top of $19,000 in student loans, and $17,000 in credit card debt. To successfully begin working my farm this year in will need $10,000 in bee keeping equipment. I will also need around $25,000 to plant and maintain my lavender fields. Once planted and established this amazing plant will thrive for 12-15 years and produce up to $35,000 per acre. I'm at the perfect elevation for lavender growing at 6,200 ft which is the same as the best lavender fields in the world in France. It is my dream to provide organic medicine and herbs to people while also helping to restore some of the world's lost honey bee population using sustainable energy and buildings all along the way.
