US$1,010.00raised of $1,000.00 goal goal
Dear friends, from both our local and international communities,
We the class of Business Administration Year 2 at University of Stenden Bali have begun this fundraiser for our dear friends, the boys of The William Booth Salvation Army Boy’s Home and Orphanage in Bali, Indonesia. The William Booth Orphanage currently houses 28 young, orphaned boys from childhood to young adulthood. Through the orphanage, they are given a home, a complete education, and a gateway to begin their adult lives by finding a career or higher education opportunity.
The boys and the directors of the orphanage also work to support themselves through creating tie dye products, and selling them through their building directly. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has put a strain on the orphanage’s funds for their basic operations. Though the orphanage does receive minor financial resources from the Salvation Army based in the U.S., this was only for building the facilities of the orphanage (such as rooms to accommodate all of the children). The orphanage is still struggling to have enough to keep their heads above water, with the costs of
Education
Clothes and shoes
Food
Basic necessities such as toiletries, bedding, etc.
Books, writing and art supplies
Equipment for extracurriculars
Upkeep and maintenance of facilities.
It is our hope that we can help support this orphanage through these difficult times, and support these growing boys through their childhood and adolescence without fear of going without. We are Allison, Manik, Uriel, Prema, and Iida, and we want only to help this wonderful organisation as much as we can. Please consider lending your help to this cause; just a few dollars will go a long way in benefitting them!Organizer
