The UN is calling Yemen the “World’s Worst Humanitarian Crisis.”

If Yemen was 100 people:

80 need aid to survive

60 barely have anything to eat

58 have no access to clean water

52 have no access to healthcare

11 are severely malnourished

But Yemen is not 100 people. It is 30.5 Million People

What is Happening in Yemen Right Now?

A woman or child dies every 10 minutes as a result of a preventable cause such as hunger, famine, and cholera. Getting food and necessities urgently into Yemen is essential.

The Challenges for Children in Yemen

The war in Yemen has Over 20 million people at risk for famine, hunger, and life-threatening diseases such as cholera. Aid agencies are desperately funneling as much aid as possible to at-risk families. Your support can make a difference.*

- 75 percent of the Yemeni population requires some form of humanitarian assistance.

- 130 children under the age of 5 die on a daily basis due to hunger and preventable disease

- Girls are being married off early and children forced to work.

- 25% of school-aged children are out of school, and 2,500 schools have been damaged or are not able to run.

- Around 2.9 million women and children are acutely malnourished.

- 54% of people live in poverty
