We are raising funds to build the first, public, miniramp in Wilderness, Garden Route. The ramp will be 8.5m x 6.1m and made from wood.

Along with designs and a building team sponsored by Triptech, we have the permission of Beejuice restaurant to place the ramp next to the old railway platform. The area being used will allow for no clearing of any trees. The ramp will be on Beejuice property and therefore owned by Beejuice.

Once the ramp is open to the public there will be a small fee to skate the ramp, which will be used to make the area more pleasant for everyone and to maintain the structures. The ramp is going to need protection from the weather, as well as specific sheeting for the top surface of the ramp. These two factors make the project more costly.

Donations made will go directly to material cost for ramp and covering structure only. The cost of materials exceeds the Campaign goal amount.

Since the closure of Skatelab there has been nowhere for skaters to express themselves. We hope to provide a place for them and open doors of networking and friendships. The goal is to build a fun and enjoyable experience in wilderness, for everyone and their pets to enjoy. The location is safe. Food and beverages will be available during Beejuice opening times. There is also a small playground for kids to enjoy.

Beejuice has updated its liability contracts and insurance contracts for natural damages and theft. There is a permanent guard on the premises at all times. We are going to every extent to make sure not a single donation goes to waste. Every penny counts.

As the area grows we hope to incorporate community upliftment programs and educational events.

Triptech manufacturing company will manufacture advertising signage for any business who donates towards the ramp. The donation is proportional to the size of advertising space. It will work as follows:

250mm x 250mm = R1500

400mm x 400mm = R2500

800mm x 800mm = R5000

The signage will be permanently mounted along side the ramp for all visitors to see.

Thank you for taking the time to read about our fundraiser. Have a lovely day.
