Appeal to support widow Shabana Bano and her three Orphan Children#

Sister Shabana Bano is a widow and living in Kolkata with her three orphan children. Among the three children the older daughter Mehjabin is studying in 12th grade, Zeenath is in 9th grade and Shadab is in 6th grade. We have received an application from her seeking financial support for her children's education and to start a boutique business to support the family. Her husband Sohrab Ali died in 2012 due to an accident. He was traveling in an auto-rickshaw to work and a speeding oil tanker hit them and three people traveling in that auto died on the spot including Sohrab Ali. He used to work in a meat shop as a butcher and was making enough to take care of the family. Since his death the widow and her children going through a tough time. They don't have their own house and used to stay in a rented house. They were unable to pay the rent for several months so the house owner finally forced them to vacate. Looking at their pity condition Shabana Bano`s sister offered them a room to stay in her house. Since then they are living in her sister`s house with her children. She does tailoring work and stitches community ladies' clothes and makes Rs3000 to Rs 4000 per month which is barely enough to feed her children. Life is going very difficult for them and the girls wanted to pursue higher education provided someone to support them. These orphan children really deserve your help and support. We humbly urge you to sign up a monthly donation to help the family on long run. She needs 2 lakhs to start the business, three kids need at least one lakh for their educations for one year. Also, they may need at least one lakh for food supply and household items to buy. Altogether they need just 4 Lakh Rupees which would be approximately equal to $6000. If possible we should extend our support to widows and orphan children. Even the holy Quran clearly mentioned there is a great reward in helping the widows and orphans. The family is eligible to receive Zakat and Sadaqah so kindly donate some portion of your Zakat to this family.
